Francisco Balestrin, of the IHF Presidency, helps form the scientific council of the Brazil Health Forum
Sustainability and health will set the tone for debates during Medical Fair Brasil 2020 on May 5-8 in São Paulo
The scientific council of Medical Fair Brasil will be coordinated by Francisco Balestrin, of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) Presidency, in partnership with Cláudio Allgayer, President of the National Accreditation Organization (ONA) and Vice President of the National Health Confederation (CNSaúde).
Under the theme of “Sustainability in healthcare, everyone’s desire”, the Forúm Brasil Saúde [Brazil Health Forum] will conduct a series of simultaneous lectures available in six rooms and two open arenas. The purpose of the proposal is to bring together key professionals to discuss the most relevant current topics. “The sustainability of the healthcare system is one of the major challenges in Brazil and involves several components from both the public and private sectors,” says Balestrin.
The presentations will be held inside the exhibition pavilion and open to all Medical Fair Brasil visitors. “Having the largest medical fair in the world on Brazilian soil signifies a positive insertion of the country in global discussions,” says Allgayer.
The Brazil Health Forum will gather a wide variety of political agents, leaders, managers and industry professionals in search of alternatives for the segment to face the enormous challenge of offering quality health care to Brazilian citizens. The main focuses of the fair include: medical technology/medical-hospital products and equipment, laboratory technology and diagnostics, IT, physical therapy and orthopedics, as well as general healthcare services to meet the industry’s demands.
